Nebraska students arecaught up in a scramble to finish their GED testing or they'll have to startover again with new tests in the New Year.
Vicki Bauer, of theNebraska Department of Education said "we're just swamped with peopletrying to get their GED testing done."
A person earns aGeneral Educational Development, GED, certificate by passing tests on reading,writing, social studies, science and math. A GED is high school equivalency isaccepted by employers and universities.
The GED TestingService will release a new series of tests in 2014. That means test results onthe current series won't be valid if they aren't completed soon.
