North Platte police arrested four individuals Friday after spotting a parked truck on Nebraska Department of Roads property near 13th and Buffalo.
Around 10:10 p.m. February 8, an officer approached the suspicious truck which contained four people. All four were taken into police custody after being deemed non-compliant and in possible possession of a controlled substance.
A large concealed kitchen knife was discovered in the car before the occupants vacated the vehicle. The driver, 19-year-old James Foggs, and 21-year-old Jeffery Denson Jr. were then put in the patrol car while the other two, 21-year-old Kenneth Reed Jr. and 27-year-old Deborah Plunk resisted arrest and had to be forcibly removed from the truck.
After a search of the truck, officers found prescription drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a semi-automatic 9mm hand gun.
Plunk, Denson and Reed were taken and jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center on charges of drug possession, police obstruction and many other charges.
Foggs was released from police custody.
