North Platte Robber on the Loose, Considered Armed and Dangerous
North Platte police are looking for a black man considered armed and dangerous after he allegedly robbed a 20-year-old North Platte resident.
Police are searching for 19-year-old Sylvester LeBlanc, who is approximately 6', 160 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has similar gang tattoos on the inside ofboth forearms displaying 'GD' on his right forearm and '74' on his left.
Officers responded to Kings Court Trailer Park Monday around 10:30 p.m. to a call of an armed robbery.
The victim of the robbery alleges that she let Jeffery Denson, 21, and LeBlanc into her home. She told police after LeBlanc asked to use the restroom, he pulled out a handgun and demanded money from her.
LeBlanc and Denson got away in a dark blue Chrysler 300 with some cash and a cell phone. Officers found Denson and another male passenger in the car later, but were unable to locate LeBlanc or the weapon used in the robbery.
Denson was arrested for robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony and terroristic threats. He was taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center.
