North Platte Woman Accused of Making Threats with Shotgun and Chainsaw
A North Platte woman is in jail after allegedly threatening two people with a shotgun and chainsaw.
Officers with the North Platte Police Department arrested 39-year-old Brenda Lee on Tuesday, April 9 after receiving a report a disturbance involving weapons.
Police were called to the 1700 block of West 14th where a man and woman told officers that Lee had threatened them both with a shotgun and chainsaw.
Officers noted at the scene that she appeared to be under the influence of something. She later tested positive for meth.
Lee was taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center on felony charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, terroristic threats, and use of a weapon while committing a felony.
