A former central Nebraska strip club owner has been given six to eight years behind bars after a Buffalo County jury convicted him on multiple charges in August.

William "Will" Sheldon, 43, was sentenced last week in Buffalo County District Court for charges of using a weapon to commit a felony, tampering with evidence and terroristic threats.

Prosecutors say that on June 3 last year, Sheldon pointed a handgun and threatened two brothers during a fight outside Jammers, a strip club he owned and operated.

The club is located near the Odessa interchange on Interstate 80 west of Kearney.

Prosecutors also say Sheldon tampered with video surveillance equipment at the club after the incident.
