Omaha Man Gets Prison in Upland Child Prostitution Case
An 30-year-old Omaha man has been sentenced to two to 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl who was being prostituted by her mother.
Alex Rahe was sentenced on Monday after pleading no contest in April to a reduced charge.
Prosecutors say Rahe had sex with the girl in April 2012 in Kearney after making arrangements with the girl's mother, Michelle Randall.
Rahe's lawyer, Charles Brewster, asked the judge to give Rahe probation, saying Rahe had made a "stupid choice" and "engaged in horrible behavior."
But prosecutor Shawn Eatherton said Rahe could have walked away from the situation but didn't.
The victim's mother Michelle Randall has been sentenced to 92 to 120 years in prison for prostituting her teen daughter and her 7-year-old in Buffalo, Franklin and Furnas counties.
