      Pepper Steak and Mushroom Saute

      • 2 oz. olive oil

      • salt, to taste

      • pepper, to taste

      • 1 tsp garlic, chopped

      • 4 oz. au jus

      • 4 oz. burgundy wine

      • 6 oz. sirloin, sliced

      • 1 oz. red onion, sliced

      • 1 oz. red and green bell peppers, sliced

      • 1 oz. mushrooms, sliced

      • 1 handful pasta, cooked

      • slurry, enough for thickening (see recipe below)




      Slurry


      • corn starch

      • water


      Add just enough water into corn starch while stirring until it comes together.

      Pepper Steak and Mushroom Saute

      Add
      oil into large saute pan on medium-high heat. When oil begins to smoke,
      add steak, mushrooms, onion, peppers, salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes.

      Add
      garlic and cook about 10-15 seconds more. Add wine and au jus. Bring to
      a boil for 10 seconds. Add slurry to thicken slightly.

      Add pasta and toss to coat. Serve and enjoy!
