- 2 oz. olive oil
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic, chopped
- 4 oz. au jus
- 4 oz. burgundy wine
- 6 oz. sirloin, sliced
- 1 oz. red onion, sliced
- 1 oz. red and green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 handful pasta, cooked
- slurry, enough for thickening (see recipe below)
- corn starch
Add just enough water into corn starch while stirring until it comes together.
Pepper Steak and Mushroom Saute
oil into large saute pan on medium-high heat. When oil begins to smoke,
add steak, mushrooms, onion, peppers, salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes.
garlic and cook about 10-15 seconds more. Add wine and au jus. Bring to
a boil for 10 seconds. Add slurry to thicken slightly.
Add pasta and toss to coat. Serve and enjoy!
