Program in Kearney to Focus on Younger-Onset Alzheimer's Disease
CountryHouse Residence for Memory Care in Kearney is hosting a free event next week called Living with Younger-Onset Alzheimer's Disease.
The one-hour program will take place at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at First United Methodist Church of Kearney, 4500 Linden Dr.
Mike Hughbanks, 58, of Omaha, will discuss his diagnosis of younger-onset Alzheimer's disease, as well as warning signs, the disease progression and what it's like for him to live with the disease.
The presentation is free to attend and open to the public. Space is limited, registration is due by February 21 by calling the Alzheimer's Association's 24/7 helpline at (800) 272-3900.
