The store, which is located directly behind the previous Russ's Market, is about 60 percent larger than the old store, with several new services.
The new building has room for a pharmacy, floral department, cafe and the expansion of a few of its other departments.
Not only is the building larger in size, the staff is increasing too. The new Russ's Market will employ more than 150 people, an increase of around 60 full- and part-time jobs, according to company officials.
The old store building will soon be torn down and that space will be turned into parking. Construction of the new lot is expected to be completed in late September.
Current store customers will be able to park at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, south of the store.
