A new holiday shopping extravaganza is offering unique gifts for last minute shoppers.
On Saturday, shoppers come out in force to find that unique gift during the first Holiday Extravaganza in Holdrege
About 20 local home-based vendors set up booths featuring a range of products from Scentsy to Mary Kay for people to look at and buy; even Santa made an appearance.
Organizers say this is a great opportunity for small businesses to profit during the holidays.
"There's not a lot of job opportunities in small towns so a lot of people go to small based businesses and that's what we're here for is to help them sell their business, make a little money, we all have to work so this is our way of working, having a lot of fun, and helping each other out." said organizers Renee Lapuma and Sierra Klein.
Some vendors also gave a portion of their sales to various charities during Saturday's event.
