Sarah Palin Endorses Ben Sasse

The republican primary is heating up and one candidate is bringing out a big name, as a former vice presidential candidate visited North Platte Friday afternoon.

Sarah Palin is endorsing U.S. Senate candidate Ben Sasse. Tea Party members Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are also endorsing Sasse.

Sasse held a rally at the Buffalo Bill State Park. Around a thousand people were in attendance for the event.

Palin says she thinks Sasse will do big things in Washington, if elected.

“Whenever he goes to Washington he will bring the values, the world view that has been conformed here with these deep roots in the Heartland,” said Palin.

Sasse says if he is elected he will do his best to stop so-called Obamacare.

The other candidates in the GOP senate race are Sid Dinsdale, Bart McLeay and Shane Osborn.
