A large donation may help keep a Grand Island school's doors open.

G.I. Christian School officials said a donor recently offered up $10,000 as a matching donation.

That means all gifts received through the end of June will be doubled up to that $10,000 limit.

"If we are able to take advantage of the entire amount of matching funds we are confident that we will open next year," said Travis Burdett, school board president.

You can send donations to the school or donate online at gichristian.org.
