Round-table events will be held across the state this February to give those who work in the beef feedlot industry a chance to learn about the latest business trends.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln extension is hosting the events on Feb. 11 at the Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport, Feb. 12 at the Holiday Inn Express in Lexington, and Feb. 13 at the Nielsen Community Center in West Point.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. local time for each event. Interested individuals should register by Feb. 5. For more information or to register, contact Matt Luebbe at 308-632-1260 or by emailing email@example.com.
Then later this summer, the Beef Improvement Federation will be holding its annual meeting and research symposium at the Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln.
The meeting is hosted by the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Nebraska Cattlemen and UNL. Top researchers and other players in the beef industry will be at the event. Speakers will cover a variety of topics aimed at helping cattle ranchers and feedlot operators produce better beef.
The meeting will be held June 18-21. For more information, go to www.beefimprovement.org.
