Sharing Through the Season Food Drive

The "Sharing Through the Season Food Drive" is happening this holiday season.

This food drive is an annual competition between the Archway/Firefighters Campus in Kearney,
Stuhr Museum in Grand Island and the Hastings Museum in Hastings, to see which community
can gather the most food to donate to a local food pantry.

The food donated through the Archway and NEFFM collaborative effort will be donated to the
Salvation Army Food Pantry in Kearney.

All non-perishable food items should be delivered to the Archway or to the Firefighters Museum from December 7th to December 31st to receive a voucher for two adult or senior Archway admission tickets for the price of one. Limit one voucher per adult, must be used before 2/24/2012.

Shopping carts will also be set up at each of the Salvation Army kettle sites throughout Kearney as additional donation hot spots. Shoppers are encouraged to consider the hungry when buying food for their families, and to choose to add a selection of non-perishable food items to their shopping list to give to the needy at the hot spot donation sites outside these stores.

The NEFFM hours this holiday season are 10AM - 4PM Daily. CLOSED Christmas Day.
      The Archway hours this holiday season are Dec. 14-24 10AM - 3PM; Dec. 26-31 10AM - 3PM.
