Sicilian Pasta Bake


  • 4 links good Italian sausage

  • 3-4 cups marinara

  • 6 strips cooked bacon

  • 2 medium onions, julienned

  • 2 bell peppers, julienned

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • red wine

  • balsamic vinegar

  • enough olive oil to sauteé

Sauteé onions until transparent. Add green peppers, add garlic, sauteé for 1 minute. Add Italian sausage.

De-glaze with red wine. Add marinara sauce. Stir. Ladle over pasta in heat-safe pasta bowl. Top with mozzarella and provolone (shredded). Bake until golden and bubbly.
