Wurst Salad


  • Romaine lettuce

  • 3 Roma tomatoes sliced

  • 2 small white onions

  • 3 oz. Balsamic reduction (give or take)

  • 1 oz. Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 4-5 oz. Olive Oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 6 slices (thin 1/8") then julienned

  • 2-1/4lb. bratwurst sliced 1/4 inch thick and browned in sautee pan

  • 2-3 squirts of Maggi seasoning

Make vinaigrette with balsamic, olive oil, salt and pepper and ending with Maggi. Adjust for seasoning as necessary. Add all other ingredients minus Romaine. Toss well. Allow to sit 1 hour to overnight in fridge.
