Storm Hockey Offers Local Groups a Way to Fundraise

TheTri-City Storm are helping local non-profit organizations in theirfundraising efforts with a easy ticket rebate program.

Thefundraising program is designed to help groups raise money while enjoying a funnight out with friends and family at a Tri-City Storm game. An organization signs up to sell tickets for a Storm hockey game and then receives a portion of those tickets sells donated back.

Toget involved, the participating organization first needs to select one of the30 home dates from the newly released 2013-14 regular season schedule. Then they just have to sell the tickets. A schedule can now be viewedin full at stormhockey.com.

Eachparticipant will receive a Storm fundraising packet that provides the necessarytools for a successful sales campaign. The packets serve as the presentationand collection tool for the individuals that represent the participatingorganizations in selling tickets to the pre-determined game date.

"TheStorm takes great pride in being a good corporate citizen," said Greg Shea, president of the Tri-City Storm. "One way we have been able to contribute backto the surrounding communities is our cooperative ticket selling program. Theprogram is a win-win for the participating organization and the hockey club. Weboth succeed when working together in promoting and selling a game nightexperience."
