Using fun to share a serious message, young leaders from Kearney used their voices to support an organization providing services to victims of sexual and domestic assault.
Ice cream, bouncy houses, and of course, hockey. Leadership Kearney teamed up with the Tri-City Storm for a Sunday fun day event.
It's all to help raise awareness for the Family Advocacy Network.
"You know if someone is struggling and they don't know what to do that there are people out there to help and that there's people out there willing to advocate for them," said Leadership Kearney's Jamie Emal. "That they don't just have to be silent all the time, that this is something that we're here standing up for them and saying this group is here to help because they're here to help us."
Sunday's event brought in over $4,700 for the Family Advocacy Network.
