Supreme Court Staying Out of Concealed Carry Decisions for Now

The Supreme Court has decided to stayout of the hot-button issue of concealed weapons laws for the time being.

The court rejected to review a case onMonday dealing with whether 18- to 20-year-old's can get state permits to carrya handgun in public for self-defense.

The justices gave no reason fordenying an appeal from the National Rifle Association in this and two otherseparate gun control cases.

The decision not to intervene now means the state andfederal laws at issue will remain in effect.
