Tax Season Will be Delayed Thanks to Shutdown


You'll have to wait abit longer than usual to file your taxes for this year thanks to the partialgovernment shutdown.

The Internal Revenue Servicesaid it will delay the start of the tax filing season by up to two weeks.

The IRS said the movewas necessary to allow for adequate time to program and test tax processingsystems following the 16-day federal government closure.

The original 2014filing season was set to begin January 21st.
