GINW Kicks Off Trap Shoot Season With 90 on Team

The cold weather Saturday made for a quick shooting competition.
Organizers said only about 10 shooters participated in the Rimfire/Centerfire Steel Challenge at the Heartland Shooting Park near Grand Island.
The weather didn't stop Grand Island Northwest's trap team from practicing though.
In their second practice, coach Leo Grim said the team has about 90 students. Thirty students are new to the team, he said.
Grim said the team has grown over the years by word of mouth.
Their first competition of the season will be in mid-March.
