Lincoln resident Dan Buhrdorf wants to join the race for U.S. Senate as a member of the relatively new Tax Wall Street Party.
He's currently collecting signatures in Nebraska’s Third District for a petition to get on the ballot. Volunteers are expected to be collecting signatures at the DMVs in Kearney and Grand Island on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday .
"People are tired of the two parties all over the country and in Nebraska,” said Buhrdorf. “We have a populist party that's working to make life better for middle class and working people."
Republican Ben Sasse, Democrat Dave Domina and Independents Jim Jenkins and Todd Watson are already on the November ballot.
