Three Men Sentenced for Western Nebraska Thefts from Vehicles

Three men have been ordered to pay fines and given probation for a string of thefts from vehicles in the Panhandle last year.

Austin Clark, 19, Zachery Bibb, 19, and Mathieu Priells, 18, were convicted of stealing items from unlocked vehicles between the end of November and early December. They had pleaded no contest to 10 counts each.

On Friday the men were given two years of probation, suspended jail sentences of 90 days, 200 hours of community service and were fined $500 on each of the 10 counts.

They also were ordered to pay a total of more than $7,100 in restitution.
