Three North Platte men were arrested Sunday after officers found drugs, cash and a gun in their car.

North Platte police officers were looking for a dark blue Buick with South Dakota plates after someone reported a disturbance at the Kwik Stop located at 702 E. 4th St. in North Platte.

The victim called police around 8:15 p.m. Sunday alleging that five men in the Buick threatened him and then chased him in their car after he tried to drive away.

Around 9:15 p.m. the blue Buick was found near North Cottonwood and East 11th Street with three occupants inside. Drug paraphernalia was spotted inside the vehicle. The car and its occupants were then searched.

Officers found $2,500 in cash, small baggies suspected of containing meth, and a .45 caliber handgun with ammunition. None of the car's occupants, all convicted felons, admitted to owning the gun.

The car's driver, 29- year-old Robin Dennis, and his two passengers, 24-year-old Aaron Clark, and 45-year-old Keith Phelps were taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm by a felon and other charges.
