Trial Date Set for Woman Accused of Stealing from Plainview
A June trial date has been set for the woman accused of stealing from the City of Plainview in northeast Nebraska.
44-year-old Carolyn Conner has pleaded not guilty to a theft charge.
Authorities say audits show nearly $50,000 missing from city accounts. Discrepancies were found in records of station fund transfers and utility deposits.
Conner worked for Plainview from 2008 to 2012.
