The Nebraska State Patrol seized 730 pounds of marijuana Monday from inside a California semi-trailer.
The drugs, found concealed inside boxes of produce, have an estimated street value of $2.5 million.
Troopers found the marijuana in a search Monday night in Lincoln, their second contact with the San Bernardino-based J & J Transport semi-trailer that day.
Troopers performed a routine inspection of the truck along Interstate 80 at Waverly, where one of the drivers was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The other driver was allowed to continue at the time, but was arrested later that day after the drugs were found in the semi-trailer.
Both drivers were arrested on drug charges.
