      Turkey Hunting Workshops Set in Eastern Neb.

      LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled two spring turkey hunting workshops in eastern Nebraska to help prepare hunters for the upcoming seasons.

      The first workshop is set to run from 7 to 9 p.m. March 19 at the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, which is in Schramm Park State Recreation Area, south of Gretna.

      The second workshop is set to run from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 26 at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League clubhouse. The clubhouse sits on the southeast side of Lincoln, a half-mile south of Nebraska Highway 2 on 134th Street.

      The free workshops will feature Game and Parks specialists who will discuss strategies, equipment and biology and share tips on becoming a successful turkey hunter.
