      Two EF1 Tornadoes Hit Southeast Neb. Sunday

      The National Weather Service has determined two EF1 tornadoes hit southeast Nebraska on Sunday.

      They said one twister touched down near The Two Rivers State Recreational Area and a second twister hit the Indian Creek area, just one mile northwest of Elkhorn.

      An EF1 tornado has wind speeds between 86 and 110 miles an hour. Survey teams are still assessing the damage.
