A University of Nebraska-Kearney wrestler has been sentenced for participating in a fight with three other UNK students.

Raufeon Stots was sentenced to 60 days in jail after pleading no contest earlier this month to a reduced charge. Stots had his third degree assault charge reduced to attempt of a class one misdemeanor.

He has been given credit for one day, and will serve 14 days of his jail sentence starting May 13. The other 45 days of his sentence are set to be served in December, however those days can be requested to be suspended.

Stots is also required to serve 12 months of probation as well as complete an anger management class.
