LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- A University of Nebraska-Lincoln extension office is hosting educational sessions in December for beef producers, veterinarians and students.
The Mid-Plains Beef Educational Series will take place on Dec. 16 at the university's Agricultural Research and Developmental Center near Mead.
Experts from the university and its extension offices will discuss expanded grazing options, pricing input, and ways to reduce health problems at calving.
The session will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end around 4 p.m.
Registration is requested by Dec. 13. The event costs $15, which covers educational materials, noon meals and breaks.
