      Update: Another Arrest Made in Connection to Explosion in Car

      Police have made another arrest in connection with a New Year's Eve explosion inside a car, which officials believe may have been caused by a mobile meth lab.

      Heidi E. Dunning of Almena, Kans. was arrested in Rooks County, Kans. on a warrant for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance.

      Levi Sanderson, 24, of Kearney, was arrested last week on similar charges in relation to the incident.

      The explosion occurred on the 800 block of Avenue C Tuesday evening, sending a woman to the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln to be treated at their burn center. Authorities have not released the woman's name.

      Following the incident, police were searching for the red Ford Taurus involved in the incident as well as two men believed to be inside at the time of the fire. The car was eventually found abandoned in Phillipsburg, Kansas.

      UPDATE

      Billy Smith, 31, of Hastings was arrested on Tuesday for manufacturing a controlled substance.
