Western Nebraska Man Gets Probation for Trying to Run Over Son-in-Law
A western Nebraska man accused of trying to run over his son-in-law has been given a year of probation.
Ted Evans, 67, pleaded no contest to assault and attempted terroristic threats in December in a deal with Lincoln County prosecutors.
Witnesses of the August 26 incident say Evans aimed his vehicle at his son-in-law, Lawrence Kidd, and tried to run over him. Evans drove through the backyard of Kidd's home and into a neighbor's yard.
