Wymore Woman Dies in Monday Morning Crash

HOLMESVILLE, Neb. (AP) -- A Wymore woman has died in a single vehicle crash.

Carrie Day, 31, was driving south on a rural Gage County road Monday morning when her car left the road and entered Mud Creek, striking a creek bank and coming to a rest on its wheels. The crash happened two miles southeast of Holmesville.

Day was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say Day was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
