York police have arrested two men suspected of vandalizing a city park on Monday.
According to authorities, 20-year-old Zackary Johnson and 19-year-old Caleb Bruns, both of York, were arrested after a Crimestoppers tip led police to look into the duo's possible involvement with the vandalism.
The concessions building at the Miller Park baseball complex as well as the family out-door aquatic center were covered in graffiti on Monday night.
City workers were able to clean some of the paint off of the doors on the concessions building, but they will have to paint over the graffiti covering the rest of the building and they may possibly have to sand-blast the pool. The cost associated with cleaning up the park has not yet been determined.
Johnson and Bruns were arrested on charges on criminal mischief and second degree criminal trespassing. Final charges will be filed by the York County Attorney.
