Adams County YWCA gives back with Gowns for Good
The YWCA of Adams County is ready to help area teens dress for upcoming formal season. In its fifth year, Gowns for Good offers reasonably priced dresses for any formal. There will be a seamstress on-site to offer her expertise in fits, alterations, and any changes the girls may want in their dresses.
The cost of the donated dresses is $30 apiece. The money collected goes to support local youth programs.
Shopping dates are as follows:
Consigners only—February 16 from 7-9 pm and February 17 from 10-11 am
Open for public shopping—February 17 from 11-2 pm; February 18 & 25 from 1-3 pm; February 19 & 23 from 3-7 pm; February 24 from 11-2 pm
The YWCA offers The Middle School Zone, High School Zone, YWCA School of Dance, and programs for youth after school and in the summer.
