Preventing Diabetes (NTV News)

The name of our pre-diabetes program is: Simple Solutions

Program Goals: 1)Achieve and maintain a weight loss of at least 5-7% of initial weight.

2)Achieve and maintain at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week.

Eligibility: * Be 18 years of age or older with a BMI of 24 or greater

· Within the past year diagnosed with pre-diabetes or

· History of gestational diabetes or

· Screen positive for pre-diabetes based on the National Diabetes Prevention Program Risk Test

Orientation class: Wednesday, April 5th at 5:30pm at Phelps Memorial Health Center, Rex Kelly Room
