      Creamy Spinach

      • 2 oz. butter
      • 1 oz. flour
      • 1 cup packed spinach
      • 1 oz. onion, chopped
      • 1 bacon strip, chopped
      • 1 pinch nutmeg
      • 8-10 ounces milk or half and half
      • 1 garlic clove, minced
      • 1 oz. parmesan cheese

      Cook bacon and onion in butter for 5 minutes; add flour and cook 2-3 minutes more; add garlic.

      Slowly add milk and whisk; add parmesan cheese and spinach. Stir together; add nutmeg.

      Serve and enjoy!
