      Indian Tacos

      • 1 lb. loaf of frozen white bread dough

      • cooking oil

      • 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef (Bison or Lean Beef)

      • 1.25 oz. taco seasoning or to taste

      • optional toppings: shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, Pace Picante Sauce, diced tomatoes, black olives-sliced, diced onions and sour cream



      Step 1) Indian Fry Bread Preparations

      Using
      Frozen White Bread Dough (1 lb. loaves) let the bread to thaw and rise.

      Cut risen loaves into about 8 slices, about
      3/4 cup sized pieces of dough, and shape or roll into round discs 1/4 inch in
      thickness.

      Heat about 1 ½ inches
      of oil in a large, deep skillet to 365 degrees F.

      Fry breads in the hot oil until golden on both sides, turning only once. Drain
      on paper towels and keep warm.


      Step 2) Meat Preparations

      Cook
      1 ½ lbs. of ground hamburger (Bison or Lean Beef)

      Add about 1.25 oz. of Taco Seasoning or to taste and keep meat warm. (This
      seasoning typically contains: chili powder, garlic, cumin, onion powder,
      oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt.)



      Step 3) Topping
      Preparations

      Prepare topping, keeping each separated in
      bowls. Our popular toppings are:

      Shredded Cheddar cheese, Shredded Iceberg Lettuce, Pace Picante Sauce, Diced
      Tomatoes, Black Olives – Sliced, Diced Onions and Sour Cream



      Step 4) Building the Ultimate Indian
      Taco


      Take one Indian Fry Bread and place it on a plate. Add a scoop of meat to the
      bread, then cover with toppings of choice.



      Step 5) Eat the Taco with a Friend
