Kenneth spent his younger years in Oxford.
He joined the Air Force in April of 1942 during World War II and served until 1946. He was sent to Alaska to be a weather reporter.
Kenneth then went to medical school in Omaha. Following that Kenneth made Benkelman his home, where he practiced medicine for 51 years.
He will celebrate his 96th birthday in November.
