This week took some time to remember Mike Doheny of Broken Bow.
Mike served our country as a marine and later worked as a civilian contractor in Iraq. He was killed by an IED on December 9th of 2007, Monday marks the 6th anniversary of his death.
The Cooksley family of Custer County said he was loved and respected by the community. They said "he had a kind heart, loved the Huskers and lit up the room with his smile and humor."
He is remembered by the Cooksley's, his wife, mom and siblings. They said they all still miss him very much.
