Sunday Salute: Terry Britton
This week we honor a Vietnam veteran, Terry Britton.
Terry was originally from Crawford, Nebraska and entered into the U.S. Army in 1964, serving four years in Vietnam.
Stationed in Cam Ranh Bay, Terry was a part of the Second Armored Division, Hell On Wheels.
While overseas he was exposed to Agent Orange. He developed complications and passed away in 2008.
His daughter Christa said that, even though he was never welcomed home with parades and celebrations, he was very proud of his service to our country. He took pride in being a veteran for the state of Nebraska and held his head high.
She added that she has no words to express the gratitude, respect and love she has for her father and is very proud to be his daughter.
Terry, thank you for your service to our country.
