101-year-old man witnesses first total solar eclipse
One Colorado man waited his whole life, 101 years, to see a total solar eclipse. And on Monday he finally got an opportunity to do so.
Former Nebraskan James Cram was at Stuhr Museum with his family and their friends from Japan. He says while he remembers many events throughout his life, this was one he's been waiting for.
"This is the first time I've seen an eclipse," said Cram. "It's so exciting. I've seen some moon eclipses but never a solar eclipse. Of course the moon eclipse is a big thing but you gotta wait another 100 years to get another one like this."
Cram used to live in McCook and Sargent.
