Nebraskan wins a heroism award for risking life for two others
Robbie Goering-Jensen, 49, saved a 57-year-old man who uses a wheelchair and his 83-year-old mother from a burning house in Omaha in 2015.
Goering-Jensen was among those who won an award from the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission.
It was founded by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.
The organization has given away $39.1 million to nearly 10,000 awardees since 1904.
