Bassett receives notice to boil water
BASSETT, Neb. —
The City of Bassett has received a boil water notice, according to the Bassett Nebraska Facebook page.
Authorities say E. coli has been detected in the city's drinking water, and they advise residents to avoid drinking the tap water without boiling it first.
Bring all water to a boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.
