Coach Riley Reacts After Three Huskers Kneel During National Anthem

Three Nebraska players continue to be scrutinized for kneeling during the national anthem Saturday at Northwestern.

Michael Rose-Ivey, Mohamad Barry and DaiShon Neal elected not to stand. Rose-Ivey says the protest was to bring attention to racial inequality.

Husker Head Coach Mike Riley addressed the decision in his weekly press conference.

"Nobody is going to see this in the same way, just like I think that's the way that's going out there in the world right now. So there's going to be a ton of different opinions and that's what, it's like I said after the game, that's what makes America what it is. People have a right to their thoughts and opinions," Riley said.

Riley says his roster is a melting pot of backgrounds, and he wants players to respect each other's point of view.
