Golfers hit the course for autism during annual fundraiser
The Kids and Dreams Foundation had their 9th Annual Fairways and Greens for Kids and Dreams Golf Tournament, Monday at the Kearney Country Club.
More than 30 teams participated.
There were different contests as well as a live auction.
Aaron Bly, the president of the organization said the turnout from the community was great.
"It's just awesome to see the golfers come out on a hot day like this and play some golf to help raise funds for us. It's been really special and even over the last three years since I started the foundation, just to have that opportunity and just to see the general public come out and support us has been great."
The money raised is going towards the organization's different events and programs.
The Kids and Dreams Foundation is an organization that supports children and families dealing with autism.
