Grand Island woman arrested in fatal hit and run
A 48-year-old Grand Island woman has turned herself in, after a hit and run left a man dead earlier this week.
Police say Robin Nehls, 48, was arrested Thursday. Officers say she was the driver in the hit and run fatality early Monday morning near CHI St. Francis.
Police say Nehls "voluntarily came forward about her involvement in this accident."
She was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident Resulting in Death, which is a felony offense in the State of Nebraska.
