Home invasion reported in Hastings on Sunday

Hastings Police told NTV News that a husband and wife in their 70's reported a home invasion Sunday morning at 2 a.m.

They reported that they were asleep and was awoken by young black male wearing hoodie.

They said he was standing in the doorway demanding money while pointing a rifle at them.

The couple did as he said and then he proceeded to leave with the stolen property, according to Hastings Police.

A second suspect entered the house also wearing a hoodie asking where his accomplice was and then fled the scene.

He was described as a black male 5’6-5'8, in his 20's.

Police are still investigating and are asking the public for any information.
