Update: Power restored after overnight outages

Overnight storms brought power outages to Central Nebraska.

The Nebraska Public Power District said more than 8,000 people lost electricity around 9:30 p.m. They said most customers were back on around 11:00 p.m., but other’s lights weren’t on until around midnight.

NPPD said there were outages in Loup City as well. Those were restored until early Tuesday morning.
