Police: One dead in crash near Oxford
OXFORD, Neb. —
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Timothy Lundquist, 32, of Alma.
Harlan County Sheriff's Office reported that Lundquist was not using a seat belt when he drove off the road into an embankment and struck a tree.
They also report that alcohol may be involved.
Lundquist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say one person has died following a one-vehicle crash just east of Oxford on Thursday.
The Harlan County Sheriff's Office said the accident was discovered at 7:30 a.m. about 6 miles east of town on Highway 136.
The name of the victim has yet to be released pending the notification of family.
